My first trip to Vegas was in the ‘90s with my Milwaukee sisters. We stayed at the famous Stardust hotel, played dollar blackjack for hours and had a blast. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I don’t have any pics from that trip.
Since then, one of the greatest gifts that my daughter gave to me was a big, wonderful soccer family. She played on a travel team from a very young age through high school. In the club’s off-season, she also started all 4 years for her High School’s Varsity team. All the rainy, snowy, hot, sticky practices and games were worth every moment. All the club fees, uni fees, and travel expenses were worth every penny. She and I both made lifelong friends and lasting memories.
One of our soccer trips to Vegas happened to be on the highest of holy days, St. Patrick’s Day, and we had a blast. Casinos, Fremont Street zip lining, and Irish pubs. We also visited Acrylic Tank Manufacturing and met Wayde from Tanked! Below are some pics from 2019.
