Three years after we lost our sweet Jax, Kali the Cattle Jack began mending our hearts. She showed up on the doorstep of our friends’ house and they were helping her find her forever home. We fell in love at first site and fostered her until her stray hold was complete. No one claimed this little rascal so she became Kali Bong Murphy (“Bong” because we met her on 4/20/25). Since then, she has destroyed countless shoes, blankets, and cushions but she’s just too dang cute to be mad at.
